June 6: Council Motion for ON THE WALL street art festival.
Come and support our delegation at 7:30 pm in Council Chambers, City Hall. In addition to requesting the opportunity to organize another great festival, we are hoping that the retaining way can become designated as a “legal wall”, like the Berlin Well or Ottawa’s Tech Wall.

Other Ongoing Work and Issues:
Douglas R. Fluhrer Park and K&P Trail
Works continue on the K&P Trail and the waterfront pathway. The south section of the project, an unopened gravel lane located in Douglas R. Fluhrer Park has been reduced in size and restored as a pedestrian scaled pathway. Soil is being installed and naturalized meadow grass and sod is being planted along the new pathway. The gravel lane is located in the alignment of the Wellington Street extension.
Belle Park
The City of Kingston is considering new recreational and naturalization ideas for improving the use of Belle Park. A 2016 survey found that Kingstonians also enjoy the riverside park for walking, running, cycling, skiing, pickleball and enjoying nature.
The City has decided to explore options to reduce, modify or eliminate golf at the park and find ways to encourage other recreational uses and/or naturalization of some areas. What do you think?
