4) Belle Park Open House – All welcome!
What: Learn more about the opportunities and challenges of developing a master plan for Belle Park – situated on a former landfill site on the shores of the Great Cataraqui River. Offer input on locations for Belle Park programs, pedestrian circulation and access, pathway connections, clubhouse amenities, improvements and recreational activities.
City staff is also consulting with indigenous groups on how to communicate the history and culture of the indigenous community at Belle Park. Feedback will be used to hone the Belle Park Master Plan.
Watch for opportunities in June to offer input on a refined concept. It is expected that the Belle Park Master Plan will be brought before council this fall.
